STATISTIC SUMMARY

Generally, Vietnamese consumers spend much more on out-of-home drinks than in-home drinks, especially tea. Nearly 90% of tea was consumed out-of-home, including various types such as black tea, fruit/herbal tea, and green tea, etc.

Out-of-home expenditure on Energy Drinks, Bottle water, and Hybrid Drinks were also at least 3-fold higher than that of in-home. Among all types of soft drinks, CSD (Carbonated Soft Drink) and Coffee stand as the drinks with the highest in-home spend proportion with the lowest gap between out-of-home and in-home expenditure.
