Having asked over 1,000 Vietnamese online shoppers in 2018 and 2019, more than half of them have been either satisfied or very satisfied when shopping online. In 2018, around 55% of the respondents said that they were happy with their online shopping. After a year, the number rose to over 70%, showing how much customer services have improved via online platforms. In both two years, only a tiny fraction of respondents were not satisfied with their shopping experience.
However, the same publication from iDEA pointed out that the percentage of people willing to continue shopping online had slightly dropped in 2019 compared to 2018 which may result from problems like inferior products quality, risk of losing private information as well as unclear pricing when shopping online
