Amongst 1,002 Vietnam consumers participating in the survey, the number of ride-hailing mobile apps users in 2018 just accounted for more than 40%. However, the percentage increased sharply in the next year, nearly doubling itself in 2019. “Fast and convenient”, according to the survey, is the most satisfying factor for people who use ride-hailing apps. This may also be the key consideration attribute for people to start using the app, not to mention the impact of intensive promotion campaigns of Grab, Be, and other ride-hailing players when entering the Vietnam market.
